Le Barthelemy Hotel & Spa
Parisian pedigree right in the heart of St. Barth’s nature reserve.
What it is
A stylish beach cabana feel hotel with Michelin-star eats.
What it isn't
Old or dusty. Le Barthelemy is as fresh off the press as its Sybille de Margerie interiors.
What we think
Le Barthelemy fits in seamlessly in St. Barth’s majestic Grand Cul de Sac landscape, a natural bay that makes every other island seem subpar. The property sits on a small sandbar, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the wonderful nature surrounding them. Turtles, seabirds, starfish and corals are just some of the residents you’ll be getting along with.
The hotel itself is gorgeously designed. Rooms are state of the art and comfortable to boot, with Hermes amenities being just one of the perks to await you after a swim on the beach. Light wooden and refreshing interiors flirt with the blues and whites of the beach in front and thoughtful touches like invisible, drop-down screens allowing guests to easily flip between a private enclave of a room or a belvedere of a balcony.
Guy Martin, the renowned Michelin-starred chef, is behind Le Barthelemy’s decadent cuisine. The main restaurant, Aux Amis, serves haute French cuisine with a light and fresh Caribbean twist right on the crescent-shaped beachfront. We can’t think of a more perfect setting to enjoy one of the world’s best ceviches.
You're here because
Everywhere in the Caribbean has white sand--but only Le Barthelemy has a blend of natural splendour and luxurious technology that make relaxing oh so easy.
Waking up after a dreamy sleep to the refreshing sound of lapping waves. You lazily flip a switch and watch with glee as the panorama of the Grand Cul de Sac is revealed by the opening screens for your private viewing pleasure. There’s no better start to a day.
On the northwestern tip of St. Barth’s in the middle of the scenic Grand Cul de Sac. Gustaf III airport is barely a 15-minute drive.
