What we think
If your vision of paradise includes endless views over glass-clear turquoise seas and lush, fragrant gardens, Mi Amor (Spanish for “my love”) is your spot. Guest rooms here are nothing less than paradisiacal, with their floor to ceiling glass walls, overhead rain showers, earthy design elements and thoughtful amenities—including everything from beach bags to nightly turndown. And while every option is fantastic, our favorite is inarguably the Seafront Room with a Plunge Pool: it’s everything you could ever ask for from a Tulum getaway, including a cool water plunge tub built into your deck and prime panoramas over the postcard-worthy Caribbean. Be sure to try some of the hotel’s aptly named Mystic Experiences; the Mayan Jungle & Monkey Adventure is a must for anyone who wants to spot spider monkeys in their native habitat.
